Food Program services are available Monday-Friday 8am- 4pm at the Quileute Commodities Warehouse in La Push. The mission of the Quileute Food Distribution Program is to help people end food scarcity on the Quileute reservation and in the Tribe’s service areas. Our program helps encourage a healthy lifestyle by providing information in line with improved dietary guidelines from the United State’s Department of Agriculture. Our goal is to collaborate with other programs to not only provide nutrition education, but help families gain self-sufficiency with regards to food and food preparation. With the help of our funding agencies, we have included the goal to increase knowledge of local foods and increase knowledge on how to prepare and serve traditional foods. In addition to Commodities, Human Services offers the Food Pantry Program. The Pantry Program operates like a local food bank providing unprepared food without charge to those in need. Must live on Quileute Reservation, OR, be Quileute enrolled. Food Pantry Program services are available Monday-Friday 8am- 4pm at the Quileute Commodities Warehouse in La Push.
